Abstract: The spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) by differentmobile genetic elements from animals to humans and theenvironment is of great concern. As a unique interfacebetween animals and environments, farm wastewatertreatment plants (WWTPs) can be used to observe thespread of AMR between sectors. In this study, we comparedresistomes, especially those associated with human path-ogens and mobile elements, among swine WWTPs in Taiwanusing Oxford Nanopore metagenomics sequencing.
