    Authors: Chang, H;Yao, C;Huang, SC
Contributors: Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Nanomedicine
A device with a movable coil and a therapeutic system is used for therapeutic applications in a magnetic resonance imaging system. The device consists of a moveable coil and a fixed coil for receiving the magnetic resonance signal from the subject. The moveable coil is attached to a positioning device and is able to move together with a therapeutic device over the target area of subject. The fixed coil is larger than the movable coil and has a larger field of view than that of the movable coil. The device further includes an imaging processing unit to reconstruct the received signals from the moveable coil and the fixed coil to form an MRI image.
